Welcome to Introduction to Radio Frequency Communications#
The aim of this book is a gentle introduction to RF communications.
Part of the motivation for writing this book is that the excellent books by Goldsmith [2005] and Molisch [2011] are mostly pitched at a graduate level. A gentler introduction for undergraduates seemed to be missing.
Prerequisites#
It is assumed that the reader has some background in linear systems theory (Fourier & Laplace transforms, sampling, etc.) as well as programming in python.
